Madrina Dressing in black satin with jet trinkets bead on the neck. The sleeves of lace. A jet thinkets bead rosary. On the head she is wearing a silver ornamental comb and over all a lace mantilla. This is a typycal spanish style used by women in our Semana Santa (Holy Week), catholic celebratión or even matrons of honour. In our Holy Week are long processions through the streets with religious floats and scultures and the women dressing in this way go with them. She is 5 1/2" tall. Her torso goes to the wraist and she moves the arms up and down. Her hip are made of clothe and the legs go from the middle of the thigh and finished in high-heels shoes. |
